I have always had a fascination with quilts. My mom shared with me one day that as a baby, I carried around my "banky" until it was literally falling apart. As I got older, my grandmother gave me a quilt that was handmade by her mother and I kept it on my bed for years. My fascination came from wondering how such a thing of beauty could be made with such design and creativity and if I could ever make something like this someday.
